Assembling Mzzy 3-Blades
« on: October 16, 2006, 11:39:44 AM »
Am I the only one who could not assemble 100 gr. Muzzy 3-blade broadheads?  I thought I had normal dexterity, but these things had me nuts before I gave up and went back to the 4-blade style. >:(

They are definitly a pain the first few times, but it just takes a little patience to get the 3rd blade to slide in. I find that if I shake the broadhead a little as I slide the last one in that it will eventually settle into the correct location.

You are not alone  ;)

I had the same problem putting them together, just got to hold your mouth right and it will go in finally, after you cut yourself and invent new words that will make even a sailor blush!

I would have to agree with gregp42. Use of the proper swear words is essential to succesfully assembling these broadheads.

Hello...

I asked the same question about assembling Muzzy 3-bladers about a year ago.  My girlfriend can put them together much better than I can.  But now that I have more practice, they are easy to put together once you get the hang of it.  I switch back and forth between the cutting blades and the practice blades with easy now.  So, if you are having too much trouble, get your girlfriend or wife to help out!  It worked for me...
Cheers,
Gary
