SIMMONS SCOPES

I  was offered from a guy at the range yesterday a 44 mag: simmons scope
new 3.8x12x44 MM with smart reticle: I think he was looking for $90.00 for the scope.
I see from optic zone the newer MASTER SERIES SCOPES wonder the pro or cons on the above scope?? I am still looking 
I think the 44 mag: scope are no longer made woder how they did on performance as fas as a good quilty scope for the money.

I can give two thumbs up on the last generation 44 Mag's.  I have two and am very pleased with each; super clear, accurate adjustments; ability to hold a zero.  My only experiance with a the new Master Series scopes was with an 8-point.  I ended up returning it.

I have two of the .44 Mags. One on a .270 and one on a 30-06. Both have held up well.

Well by the tiime I got back to  the guy at the range it was ,O well sold:
I did purchase the above will give simmons a shot only out $49.00 seem the above is a closeout older model from a another vendor on the web:
New not refrubish; Hey I had older tasco for years and bushnell sportview that performed excellent so called cheap scopes:will see how things work out.

Hey lonewolf I have 3 of the 3X9 Illumanated Ret. scopes .  I dont think there will EVER be a better DEAL !!  I have not had one on a heavy recoil rifle, but I have been very happy.

I AM GOING TO BUT IN MY HANDI SINGLE SHOT 06 MY LOADS ARE NOT HOT WOULD SAY 2450 FPS
