Late season woodchucks
« on: October 21, 2006, 10:29:21 AM »
I got two along the ditchline behind my house this afternoon. I was shooting from my picnic table and just keeping an eye out for them while I was doing yard work

Both were between 150 and 200 yards.
The first I shot with an old Sako in 222 the other with a Win 70 varmint in 225 winchester

I`ve been seeing afew while driveing lately, but not were I could shoot them. Right now I`m wanting dry weather so the farmers can get the crops in and we can start seeing coyotes again.
