New Varmint scope under $300 for a Tikka 6.5X55

I just placed an order for a tikka stainless lite 6.5X55, its going to be my varmint / deer rifle (mostly yotes and some ground hogs),
I was looking for a good 6-18 power scope, so far, only once I like that are around my price range is the Nikon Buckmasters 6-18X40 but not sure what reticle to get, BDC / Nikoplex / target mildot.  Im leaning towards the BDC but, whatever responses I get from you folks I'll take into consideration.
