Hi Point Carbine .40S&W

I have heard nothing but good things about the 9mm Hi Point Carbine, just wondering if anyone has any word on .40.... Christmas time is comin up..hehe

I have one in 40, but have never shot/seen the 9mm, so I can't compare the two.  I like mine alot.  It's fun to shoot and fairly accurate.

If I had to do it all over again, I still would buy the hi-point...BUT I do like my kel-tec better.  I have the sub 2000 in both 9mm and 40, and think they are the coolest thing around (except for my PLR-16 that should get here in a week or so).

Before you buy the Hi-Point, take a look at the Kel-tec.  The 9mm is a little hard to find right now, but you can get a 40 pretty easily.

I am leaning more toward the hi-point, simply for the bang for the buck.  I was wondering too, even with the 9mm, I am a lefty, will the ejection port cause a problem for me shooting from that side of the gun?  This will be my first ever semi auto, have plenty of bolt rifles, wanna get somethin a lttle more fun to shoot.

I honestly don't know.  I THINK, if I remember correctly, my carbine throws the brass slightly forward.  If that's the case, it won't be a problem.

Ill shoot lefty this weekend and let you know how it feels. Theres a reason to go shoot   No joke ill never get rid of my 9mm carbine shoots as good as a 22 rifle. Fun fun fun!

I have heard good things but always thought they were ugly as sin, now though there is a someone making a new stock for them that looks like the beretta carbine and is much more pleasing to the eye.

Maybe someone can post a pic of one with the different stock compared to the factory for everyone to see.

I would love to see one in 45 that would be nice maybe keltec? Just a dream.
