Learned a trick
« on: October 26, 2006, 05:59:39 AM »
Hi All

Nothing major, most of you probably know this already.

I got to looking at one of my rifles that I like for hiking.  Was thinking I need to carry a screwdriver to take it apart on the trail.

Then it hit me.  Take the hand screw off a survivor fore end, shorten it and use that.

Presto no tools required to take the gun in half for carrying.

You can buy extra screws at Choate machine and tool for $1.50 each

Just sharing
