Beartooth Bullets

Anybody have experience using Beartooth bullets?
I use a RBH 45 Colt for deer and hogs and want a good cast bullet 265 grns @ 1100 FPS.
How does Beartooth compare to Cast Perf, or Mt. Baldy?
Any other suggestions.

I use Beartooth cast bullets in 357, 44, and 45 caliber handguns. They perform quite well and I would recommend them to any handgun hunter.

I only have great things to say about the quality of Beartooth Bullets.  I use his 330 gn and 300 gn 444 slugs and they are the best I have ever used.  He (Marshall Stanton, owner) has a great selection of 45 slugs you can use.  Good luck on your hunt.  Mikey.

Cast Performance might make the best cast bullets on the market but dang they are proud of them (and I have shot lots of them). But dollar for dollar Marshall makes as good of a bullet and has twice the selection of Cast Performance. He has a great 280gr WFN bullet he calls a "sledgehammer" that although has a goofy name is increadibly accurate and although I have not proven it myself it will be a real deadly bullet.  Also when you call Marshall he will help you with whatever problems you might have and is a oncreadible wealth of knowledge on cast bullets. I highly recommend Beartooth Bullets.

I called Beartooth last fall and asked them about their 300grn Cast w/gas check for my Ruger SBH Hunter. I told him I was already shooting a 300grn bullet but was not happy with it. He told me, that he was in the process of casting a bunch of them at that time and if I purchased 100 and didn't like them, send them back.
I got them and dang, they shoot better than any other bullet I have tried and that is many brands. I wanted to use the Penn Hammerheads but they just didn't group well with several powders I tried.
I'm hooked on the Beartooth bullets and have ordered some for my Sharps, 444 Encore pistol and my 41mag Ruger SBH Hunter.
You should try them.

Bro, I have shot a number of deer with that 280 gr WFNGC Beartooth Bullet and I'll tell you it is a great bullet.  Very accurate, and excellent on game performance.  The last deer I shot with it last year out of my SW .45 PC gun was about 65 yards and she dropped like a stone.  The gun wears a 2X scope, 1" groups at 25yards are boring from a rest.

I'm at work so I can't remember the exact load for sure, but I'm 99% that it is 12.5 gr of AA#5; produces around 1,050 out of my 6" bbl.

I also use the 280g WFN style. In .44mag @ 1185fps from a 7.5" revolver and 1280fps from 12" encore. Both are devastating on wild boar. Both will shoot one ragged hole @ 50yds.
AA#9 and H4227 is just as accurate, but AA#5 provides more than enough velocity.
