Need instructions for Jewell Trigger in Mod 70 Win
« on: November 02, 2006, 04:13:29 AM »
I have a Jewell trigger in my Mod 70 but have misplaced the instructions.  Can someone tell me what the three allen screws do, and in what order should they be adjusted?  Better yet, is there a diagram already on the Web somewhere?

Charles,

I have fitted Timney triggers into Mod. 70's, but never a Jewell.  My best advise is to contact Jewell.  They may have an on-line diagram.  I'm certain that those three adjustment screws would be for pull weight, sear engagement, and over travel.
