Taurus Tracker 22LR/22mag covertible
« on: April 08, 2011, 08:44:17 PM »

I was looking at the TaurusUSA 2011 eCatalog and saw the following 22LR/22 Mag convertible revolver.  Anyone knows when are they going to be available?

http://www.taurususa.com/2011newcatalog/?catalog_page=7

I will definitely one one!

I have not seen them in the gun stores yet.  Other than seeing them in the catalog.  I guess Taurus want to play it safe this time and have them at hand rather than advertise them and not have them.

I was wondering if my .218 Bee Tracker can be converted to shoot 22 LR & 22 Mag by swapping cylinders.  Wouldn't that be awsome?

Not going to happen , the firing pin is in the wrong place to make it work for RF rounds .  ::)

Stimpy,

You are right.  It would not work for my 218bee.  I will be happy with the 22lr/22mag conversion anyway.  I am wondering what is going to cost to have one of those revolvers.  Hopefully less than the Ruger single sixes.

Had anyone seen one of these revolvers in the stores?
