NEF Stocks
« on: October 28, 2006, 11:02:37 AM »
Hi Everyone,
I am new to the rifles and was wondering if all NEF stocks are interchangable between all frames?

Thanks for your help.

as stated above...  ^

Only exception to the rule being that the forearms sometimes need a little fitting due to different barrel diameters.

Yes, in addition, the trigger guard and spacer are also available in blued steel, see FAQ. ;) A replacement trigger guard may need fitting, also.

Where are the steel trigger guards and spacers available?  Spoke w/ the kind lady at H&R/NEF and they don't have them anymore.

Quick,
So back to my original query.  Do the trigger guards and spacers from other H&R/NEF's fit the Handi. (ie. can I canabalize?)
Thanks

The spacers will, but the trigger guard may require fitting to align with the frame pins.
