Can`t find a used one

I`ve been looking for a used Rem. mountain rifle or maybe one of the classic when the QC department was on their toes. Can anyone point me in right direction.  I`m looking for a .270 or maybe .308 I want something with wood and blued metal.

The originals weren't made in short action chamberings, only .270, .280 and .30-06 as I recall.

Check the online gun sales/auction sites. Last time I looked there were several listed but that was some while back.

The trouble with the auction sites is they want $600.00 - $900.00 for `em. Heck you can a brand new one for $650.00
