414 Super Mag

I have a Dan Wesson 414 Super Mag with two shrouds (ventilated & sold rib with a DW scope mount), two barrels, Redding dies, & brass.  It's a super shooter and hasn't been used very much.  It's been sitting in the safe for years and I'm thinking of selling it.  Anyone have any idea what it's worth?

CZ-USA Dan Wesson sells them new for around $1170.00 stainless with 10"VH bbl special order 6 weeks wait. I just saw one go used on Gunsamerica for $650.00 with a 6" bbl that is an exceptional deal it went in one day. The original ones are fairly rare and do not show up for sale very often.

Just checked the CZ site and unless I missed something (always possible) they don't make a 414, only the 445.

You missed the "special order" part. It is not a current production gun but they will make it. If you email Genny she will e-mail you back the same quote she gave me.

I am not trying to nock down what you have, you asked what a value range was. You have a great gun there I wish I had one in my collection, yours is especially great with the SRS shroud. Do not give it away.

Here is a copy of the e-mail I got from Genny at CZ.

"The cost on the DW .7414-VH10 is $1170.00 retail. You would need to
contact a dealer to place an order. It takes about 6 weeks to

Thanks for the info Dave.  No, I definitely won't give it away.  I don't think more than maybe 5-6 of that model was made at the most.
