Winchester commemoratives
« on: November 01, 2006, 11:04:36 AM »
A good friend showed me a pair of rifles that his father purchased new in 1964. The rifles have been in the boxes since. They are in a larger box marked two rifle set $285 ( the price may not be exact but within a few $)
The rifles are model 94 in 30-30. They are blue with hex barrels. One is "engraved" with John Wayne the other Roy Rogers.
Both are unfired and neither have had the lever operated.

Any Idea's on value? I know some of the Winchester commemoratives are not worth any more than a plain model 94

Thanks

The second may be Buffalo Bill instead of Roy Rogers

Couldn't tell you the value other than I just picked up a 1970 Lone Star 30-30 mint for $649.99.
