Caps & balls
« on: February 02, 2007, 05:21:57 PM »
Hi all, I'm new to BP pistols and wanted to know where to buy caps, balls, flask and accs. on line.  I don't see any site sponsors for that!

One place to start is Dixie Gun Works, you might try Walmart on line, they carry a suprising amount of BP items at reasonable prices. The local stores carry the BP stuff seasonally and sell it off at a huge discount at the end of the hunting season...That's when I buy for the next year.

radio2, you are in Saugus, so Glendale is fairly close, go to King's Gun Works on Glenoaks Blvd in Glendale, they have a case fullk of BP accessories.  For bp substututes most any gun shop, for real black powder, you may have to go to Martin B. Retting in Culver City.
