Hi:
What is the accuracy of the Remington Model 7600 in .243 Winchester like when just using the iron sights at shots 100 yards and under.
Thanks,

Mine is wicked. Puts'em in the boileroom every time. Best I can do with my old eyes is about a 3" group at 100 yd target with iron. Same gun with scope is 1 1/4" at 100. Use it on deer without fail.

It will shoot as well as you can aim with irons. Most guys today can't use open iron sights worth a hoot, but top IHMSA shooters, that's a different story.

Remington 760's are generally very accurate with the trigger being the greatest obstacle to good shooting. I like them a lot. Talked my brother into a 6mm and my electrical supervisor into a 30-06. Neither would part with the rifles. Accuracy rivals a bolt with good trigger control. The barrel is "free-floated" as there is no contact between the fore-end and the barrel .
Good shooters. I know you will like yours.

I've never tried mine with opens, but I can choot ragged holes at 100 with it. I'd have to say it will shoot as well as you can use the sights, if not better.

as for me factory ammo, always was a factory with remington rifles,
but once you find a brand they like they are tack drivers,,but ive found them to be a little picky..

The gun will shoot as accurate with iron sights as it will with optics. sStill the same load/chamber/bbl. It's all up to the shooter to do thier part to mke the shot placement count.
