Lube or No Lube
« on: November 07, 2006, 03:41:56 AM »
Ok, I am trying to get a handle on all of the new things about modern inlines.  I am using a powder substitute, either APP or ClearShot.  I know with the APP, it says use no lubes at all, and to clean the bore before shooting if you have used lubes.  Does the same hold true for the old ClearShot as well?  I used ClearShot last year, and it seemed like there was a bit of fouling, but I cleaned the bore between shots and lubed it too.  Was that where the fouling came from.  Thanks for the help folks.

Are you using sabots or conicals? Lubes and sabots promote accuracy havoc - especially when temperatures vary 50 degrees - large humidity swings  - in places like Michigan.

Best to do like centerfire world.... dry bore - then use gun oils for storage.
