Can anybody share their favorite 30-30 loads that do well in the handi?

....if it helps, I am shooting the elcheapo remington corelokt 150-grain bullets which i bought in bulk very inexpensively from midwaysa and loading 38.0 grains of Hodgdon H380....decent power good accuracy and very low pressure....but the highest velocities are obtained with H4895...34 grains will give you 2409 with a 150 bullet....but i haven't tried that since i do not own any of that powder......

I wouldn't try it without working up to it, that's a max load according to Hodgdon.

I just finished loading up some Hornady 150 grain RN and some 140 grain Barnes X-bullets (spitzer bt's) each ahead of 30 grains of 3031 in Winchester brass. I have not shot them yet but hope for good results, especially with the Barnes bullets. 28.5 grains of 3031 behind a 150 grain jacketed RN is reported to be an accurate load for the 30-30....<><.... :)

For what it's worth, my handi will put three plain, Jane 150 gr. Rem. CoreLokts (factory loads) into about an inch@100 yards.  I haven't even tried to better that with handloads.
