AIM M48 Yugo
« on: November 06, 2006, 05:12:59 PM »
I see AIM is selling M48's in very good condition. Does anyone know if they are matching serial numbers? I sent an email to AIM on Friday, but haven't heard anything yet.

My guess would be no, but they have a toll free number you can call to find out.

Thanks Jack.  I got an email this morning from AIM, and they do not have matching numbers.  I was thinking that since the M48's were new guns (made in or after 1948) they would have matching numbers, unlike the M24/47's which were rearsenaled in 1947 from older guns.  I know J & G Sales in AZ has been advertising M24/47's with matching bolt and receiver numbers, but I like the idea of the M48's (bent bolt, "new" gun).  Oh well, maybe I'll wait to see if anyone starts selling the M48's with matching numbers (at least bolt and receiver).
