Fastest bow now made?
« on: November 09, 2006, 02:59:31 AM »
I have been looking at different bows being made today and I am wondering as to who makes the fastest bow now? I know there is some outfit in Canada called APA who makes a bow reaching 340 or so, but it has a brace of less than 7 inches.

So my question is, who makes the fastest, practical hunting bow? Thanks.

I'm pleased with my Bowtech.  They make some very fast, accurate bows.

What do you mean by "pratical" ....that is widely open to interpetation. That old whats good for me may be different for someone else..I know the "Black knight" by bowtech is crazy fast. I think they claiim 350fps also. but keep in mind thats with a 30" draw length. and it sounds like a .22 when shot with an ibo weight arrow.- Kevin

My Ultra2 is rated at 320+ and actually through a chrono at 283fps. It has a a brace height of 6-1/8" ... it certainly does not allow errors.
