connecticut valley arms encore barrels

does anyone have one of these?  how do they shoot?  is there a reason they are cheap?

If it is like the muzzleloaders they used to make it is because they are made in Spain of poor materials and suffer from inferior workmanship.  I haven't seen one for years, but a few years ago CVA was not known for quality.
