value of early t/c contender

just came across an early model sn 306xx, with matched octogon bbls, one in 22mag one in 22lr. any idea of value on the older ones? have shot and bought them for years but never thought of collector value till late, Raymond

Contact Ed's Contenders at www.edstc.com for some barrel values and I'm sure he can give you a close estimate on the frame. Your 22lr may be a "One liner" which means that everything is printed on one line.

Frames are getting weird right now. I've seen them not bring $150 and the following week bring almost $225. Go over to Gunbroker and Auction Arms and check what they're bringing.
