wildcatting the 375 ruger

I bet it won't be long after these are out that someone will neck them down to 7mm, 30, and 338. These rounds would be very similiar to the Dakota rounds but with better availability of brass. I've always liked the Dakota rounds and have often thought about having a Ruger 7mag rechambered to the Dakota round, but never wanted to pay the high price for Dakota brass. The 7mm Dakota basically duplicates the 7 STW but out of a standard lenth action. The 300 Dakota duplicates or betters the 300 weatherby and the 330 Dakota betters the 338 win mag.

Does anyone know the case capacity?

I've also wanted to rechamber my 338 win mag to 330 dakota, but I have so much 338 brass and well the gun has developed mayjor sentimental value I couldn't bring myself to it.

Some of the critical deminsions of the new .375 ruger are very similar to the 30 and 35 Newton cartriges,that are 90yrs old. I guess what's old is new again.
