Would you please share your experiance reloading the 7mm stw. I would like to reload 140 grain Siera game king, I also have Winchester brass(new) and also Federal No. 215 primers. What powder would you use? I have been reloading for several decades, but my manuals are a bit dated and the stw is not listed. i will be getting a new one soon. Does a person dare put the bullet on the lands?!

try Sierra for the info - www.sierrabullets.com

If you want immediate information they also list a 1-800 number where you can talk to their ballistics experts. They don't limit their advice or information to just Sierra bullets either but since you are using their bullet it makes sense to talk with them about it. They can provide a best load for accuracy, speed and even reduced loads for practice shooting.

Great people - very knowledgable and friendly. It might be a good idea to pick up their manual to update your information too.

Thank you... Thank you, That is great of those companys to have thier information on the web and also an 800 number. I guess I can remember callimg the sierra number many years ago!

The best 7STW loads that I have seen on the internet is on www.reloaders nest .com . They have you covered from Varmit loads on up.

I have not reloaded any for the stw, for my 220 swift I do not load for max velocity 3400? whith that I will have the bullet touching the lands then back off as little as possible to where I cannot see the lands marks with magnification, this has given me a three shot group of 1.5 inch at 500 yards ! ! !

My 7 mag same story only with 3 in. at 500 yds.
