Encore Pro Hunter Frame + 12 Ga Slug barrel - forend needed?

I just ordered a pro-hunter frame (only).  I intend to initially use this frame with a 12Ga Slug barrel.  The dealer i ordered from informed me that the forend i am getting with the frame is for the 209x50, having the ramrod hole in it. 

The distributor is telling him that i can use the 209x50 forend with a 12GA slug barrel.... Is this correct????

The screw holes line up but the screw sizes are different.
