Statewide bear season begins Monday

The "traditional" 3 day statewide bear season begins this Monday 11/20. PGC officials are anticipating a good season statewide, with a possible slight decline in the northeast counties where the extended season has sought to reduce the bear population there over the last couple of years. Fall food surveys and field reports from the district WCOs indicate there should be plenty of bears out and about through the season. Hope for good weather & remember to stay safe...Good Luck to all fellow bear hunters!

Good luck to you all who are able to go out.  I had to switch jobs and have no days available until the middle of Dec.  It will be the first season missed in twelve years.  If you get lucky be sure to post some pics.

I wish I could go, but can`t. I went out for Archery Bear on Wensday and saw tons of sign, but the bears stayed clear ;D Good luck fellas. Jack.
