hard time locating barrel blanks

I'm wanting to build some replicas of early match and snaphaunce rifles. Ideally, I'd like to get a .75 cal, swamped, 50" bbl blank in the white. At this point, I'd settle for almost any cal in any length over 48". Most bbl manufactures seem to stop at 44". I was hoping to avoid spending a fortune having a custom blank made. I figured the 44" finished ones were being produced from original stock longer than that. Any suggestions?

Yes,  Call  Ed Rayl.  Call  L.C Rice.  Call John Getz.  Those are the guys that can tell ya where to get the blanks if they don't have them.

    yep im with birddog on that one and would add Oregon  barrel works , they may be able to set you up

Thanks, I'll look them up. I have all sorts of wood and piles of mother of pearl, ivory and bone for doing all sorts of inlay work. I'm hoping to have two done by next Fall. It would be neat to go out deer/hog hunting in muzzleloading season down here with a 16th century Danish musket!
