Coyote Hunter,
Please ignore the date on this post. I actually posted it on 080106. This note is just to back you up on your time formulas. All of what you say is true. I am currently working on setting up a freight company that will be called Yesterday Air Freight. This idea was generated by my customers who always want their parts yesterday. Once I work out the bugs, I will set the system up & then sell it to whoever first comes across with enough cash to keep me in the necessities of life for the next 100 years. No, I don't figure on living that long, just like to be sure. Hoo boy, this stuff is contagious!!!! Have fun, bearinguy

I love the 45-70 cartridge with its mucho smack-down... but a sniper rifle.... ONLY if properly equiped to do so.

A graph showing the relative trajectories of the .45-70-405 and the 7.62x51 mm/.308 Winchester out to 1500 yards

Now if you want to equip your 45-70 with proper sights like this target sight

Or like this Wm Malcome telescopic sight for shooting long range

Me wants one of these for my Remington Rolling Block 45-90 with its 32" barrel  ;D

If you truly understand it and it makes sense to you then we need to talk...

If you know that none of this makes sense, and your on this thread anyway, we (that includes you) need counciling.

Mr. Montanan sir. Your being way too serious here. That stuff you have there is not technical enough for this conversation. Is it? ;D
