Western WA gunsmiths?
« on: December 07, 2006, 09:33:06 AM »
Is there any gunsmiths in Western WA or the area? I am trying to get my Ruger #1 rechambered from 7RM to 7stw. Also having the crown recut. Any help would be appreciated.

I know there is one, but can't come up with his name right now, but I use Wayne York in Pendleton, he's done several rechambers and rebores for me. He was just south of Portland, but moved last year. If I think of that fella up north, I'll post it.

The fella I was thinking of is Cliff Labounty, not sure he does rechambering either.

The guy you are thinkiing of is Steve Kostanich, I believe. Do a google search, if you can't find his number I have it at work.  He does good work and is straight up about it.
