"Updating" a Win. 1894
« on: November 19, 2006, 09:43:26 AM »
Happy Thanksgiving to all! A friend of mine has a like-new one with very few rounds thru it bought for him in 1984. I was wondering if it'd be worth the effort & expense to put some of the "good stuff" from the pre-64's in it & which mods would you make? Just curiosity on my part, that's all. Thanx for the feedback, JD45

I really don't know if the 'good stuff' would fit.. Part of the problem was an lack of quality control and poor choices in desinging and finish. I guess it would be like buying a Chevy and trying to add the parts to make it into a Lexus..
