NRA Victims Advocate Group..??
« on: October 28, 2006, 09:52:53 PM »
Why not have a crime victim advocate group..led or endorsed by the NRA...membership consisting of those who saved their own and/or the lives of others while being victimized by crime. Real people, real names, real faces. People who would not be alive if they had not been armed. Put this out through paid advertisement in printed and visual media..interviews on fox even. Real people explaining the horror of being confronted with real imminent physical violence and death..in their homes and in public..either alone or with family and/or friends. Expaining how they defended themselves and imploring the voting public and lawmakers to never render their means of self defense illegal. Im writing this as i watch an episode of cold case files on tv..and thinking how the particular case on this episode would have turned out if the victims..2 ladies in their thirties..had not been so helpless against a violent attacker much larger and stronger than them.
Good friends will come, and good friends will go...but jerks will just accumulate.

I would love to see something like that happen but doubt the general public would ever accept the thought of guns are a good and the people who carry them arent crazy going to kill me people. If a plan like yours could/would get off the ground it would be a great thing.
