I kept one that was SS with synthetic stock on here priced at $150 for over a year with not a single person even expressing interest. I finally ended up trading it to a local dealer, he marked it $110 and put it out to sell. Last time I looked it was still there. There just seems to be no interest in these guns.

Thanks for the info, Graybeard.
I was trying to get a comparabile for the guy. I saw where someone had listed, on one of the auctions, this same rifle. Minimum starting bid, $145. Buy it now for $250. In fourteen days, there were no bids.
I gave the guy your grim report. I guess the Thunderhawk has the value of a five foot 2x2, a tomato stake.

Sadly that's about it. The real shame is it's an easy to clean rifle that shoots as accurately and is as strong as any of them out there today I think. I'm just not into muzzle loaders and prefer the looks of the Renegade otherwise I'd have kept it. But mine hadn't been shot in a great many years and was as new. For some reason it just seems no one wants them.

Simon- I may be interested in it at the low price. I have a blue .50 I like and it shoots well. I have been wantin to pick up a  stainless version especially considering the prices on them

I have a 50 t/c thunderhawk with the walnut stock, seem these days I no longer shoot it more with the traditional flinters.I can say it will shoot anything that goes down the barrel.
I can at the 100 yard target put 3 shots clover leaf grouped using buffalo SSB 375 grain bullet /sabot and 85 grains of triple 777 powder,I find the gun light to cary in the field it has been in all bad weather conditions and always fired with no#!! caps RWS 1075 plus.Hay don't forget the t/c warranty the best there is

Sounds like a good rifle. Strange, it has gone extinct. I recall seeing them in the Dixie catalog 4 years ago.

tallpaul: pm me with your email address, I will put you in touch with the guy.
