Anybody ever order a rifle from walmart?  If so how long did it take to come in?

Yup, 22-250 Fluted, took one week, I'm on the west coast, just shipping time difference. They said one week, that's what it took, to the day! Others closer to their supplier get em much sooner IF the firearm is in stock, make sure they check before you order, or you'll be waiting on a first come, first serve basis for out of stock firearms.

I've actually bought a couple outright and have ordered a couple. I ordered my Huntsman thru them first back when you only had to pay 10% down and the rest when it arrived and it was an automatic lay-away. If I hadn't wanted the gun then it would have went into their stock for sale, ahhh those were the good ole days. Next was my Ultra Varmint .243, this time it was 1/2 down thru the lay-away dept. and the gun was there in about 5 days. No returns this time tho, if I remember right. Policy here is 1/2 down up front before they will even order, you can pay more but not all up front for some stupid reason. I know of a guy who paid all but $1 until the gun arrived.  ::) Anyway yea they're pretty good about delivering if........you go to sprortsouth's web site and be sure it's in stock first. That's what I did on both guns I ordered thru them. Sportsouth is the supplier for the Wal-marts here.

Just make sure that my fellow WalMart associate CALLS SPORTSSOUTH BEFORE ORDERING.  The cashier will normally just tell you "it'll be a couple of days."  Ask that he/she calls the distributor and verifies onhand before ordering through layaway.  Like the man says, you can also check http://www.internetguncatalog.com/.

So if Southsports is out of stock I'm outa luck ?  I checked and they are out and I know they quit making them recently.

Same story, if they don't have one, and they're discontinued, they aren't going to get any in from CZ-USA. I check Davidsons, they don't even list it, so I think you'll have to find one elsewhere....there's one on GA..
