How much advantage will you gain with a .223 AI improved vs. the .223 Rem. in a 14" TC barrel???  Just wondering if you can burn the little extra powder in the 14" tube.  Thanks.

I think you will find the .223 is way overbore for the 14" TC, thus the .223AI will be worse.  According to TC, anything larger than the Hornet or the .221 Fireball is overbore for the 14" TC.  That said, you should get better case life and possibility better accuracy with the .223 AI.  Besides its a neat little wildcat and fun to shoot, I really like mine, but its in a 26" bolt gun. Check out Varmint Al's website for info on the .223 AI.
