I'm back from basic training

I just got back today from my 14wk OSUT training at Ft. Benning, GA. I have become an infantryman MOS:11Bravo
Its nice to be back, but just as i felt outta place when i first started i feel out of place home. here in Duluth till i'm off for Ft. Hood by 19thDec06.
any Army servicemen stationed at Hood here?
B Co. 1-22Inf 1st BCT 4th Infantry Division
OIF 08-09 out of the army now

Congrats on finishing basic and AIT. I remember that feeling your talking about. home just isn't the same once your a soldier. Don't worry when your soldiering time is done home will be home agian. Good luck and be careful.

My Nephew is at Ft. Benning now.
Training to be a combat Medic.
They will be teaching him to jump out
of perfectly good aircraft before long.
Advanced training will be in Texas
but not sure where yet.

hey 308 i go on leave on the 15th so when you get here i'll be in ohio i come back on the 28th (maybe the 27th) so give me a call then , maybe we can go out and get a drink for new years. BTW i have a car down here if you need anything don't forget to ask , i help out a lot of new guys . by the time i get back deer season will be almost over but we may be able to hook up for a coyote hunt

ya the coyote hunt really caught my attention. I got a Saiga .223 for that. what are the rules about personal weapons at Hood?

keep them witha buddy pff post!!! if not they have to be in the arms room and you have to ask your co 24 hours ahead of time to get them out.


308 if you have a cell shoot me your number so we can hook up after the first of the year.
