It followed me home,
« on: November 27, 2006, 05:29:00 AM »
A Utra 223 with the cinnamon stocks, picked it up at a gunshow yesterday. ;D I was just wondering what kinds of scopes that everybody is using, I was thinking about a 3x9x40 Bushnell Banner w/Circle x reticle. Have the Bushnell Trophy 1.75x4 with circle x reticle,I really like it. Thanks for reading.

Congrats on the new rifle...I've seen a-lot of higher power scopes going on the 223's...Bushy's...and Mueller's...seem to work good...I think Meullers Eradicators would be the berries for one myself...

Congrats on the Ultra!! Scope choice would depend on whatcha want to do with it. I have a 30mm Japan built Tasco 5-20x40 on mine, but for a carry rifle, the lower powered scope that you've got should work great, I have several Banners and Trophys, they're great scopes for the money.

I REALLY like my 6-24x56 30 mm tube.  Their scope mounts are excellent as well.

Where can you find a mil dot, 6-24 power, 30 mm tube, WITH side parallax adjustment, AND quick eye focus for $240?  Oh...forgot to mention..  fully multi coated lense - ALL of the lenses.
