Wilson Combat is highly thought of and builds some VERY nice 1911s. They have also started to build ARs and combat shotguns too. They cost quite a bit, but most people seem to be satisfied with their work/products. I have used some of their 1911 parts with zero problems. Fit/finish are high quality. You might want to take a look at some 1911 sites to get more feedback on Wilson, but I've never seen any negative feedback about them anywhere. MI VHNTR

Wilson is one of the big names out there for the 1911 single stack pistols.they took over scattergun tech years back, they were the ones that did the shotgun conversions.they even makes nice knives.you should not have any problems with them..
my huntin rifle is safe from confiscation only while my battle rifle protects it.
