Anybody have this happen?

The bushing that retains the extractor spring on my cylinder pops out about half the time I unload spent shells.  The piece in question is not actually shown as a separate part on the exploded diagram, and appears to be just a press fit item.  Is this common?

Perhaps you might try a product called cylinder rtainer from locktite. It is designed as a sort of adhesive for loose fitting shafts and bearings. It works great for this pourpose. I use almost weekley as a MIllwright. It would probaly work just fine. You can get it from many vendors that service the Industrial and machine trades. Most any decent size city will have someone who stocks it. or order it from lock tite.
