Knight Vision
« on: December 03, 2006, 06:34:59 PM »
Hello,

Has anyone had experience with the relatively new Knight Vision break open yet? I have a Wolverine and love it. I also had a really bad experience with a Revolution 1. Knight really seemed to drop the ball with this rifle. Could the Vision be that much better than an H&R break open to justify the higher price?

Also...seems like there is a lot of discussion on Veri-flames. I use them on my Wolverine with great results. I use them primarily to avoid excess fouling. The Wolverine has an open design. 209s blow soot all over everything if you don't use a "bra" over it. They work O.K. until the one shot when you forget to strap the thing on. Veri-flames reduce the fouling by 90% and I noticed no difference in ignition. Thanks for the help and God Bless!

Flathead if I were you I would wait for T/C arms Triumph muzzleloader to come out. Pick up the January 2007 issue of Petersons Hunting there is a write up about it inside and a full page color pic on the back of the magazine. :)
