beaver home range?
« on: November 06, 2006, 04:33:36 AM »
i have a decent sized creek that has a few beaver slides comming out of the creek into a corn field.  now that the corn has been cut they seem to have no activity.  so will they still be in the area to trap when season opens in late december?

If there is other food availabe, they should hang around. If the corn was their only food source, they left when the corn did.

They may have moved to new digs. They travel, but much less so,this time of year.
