Ejector problem
« on: December 05, 2006, 12:53:30 PM »
My son just replaced a broken ejector on his handirifle. Now he is having a problem with the shell going passed the ejector and on into the chamber when pushed in.Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure he got the right ejector? They're caliber specific as well as those made prior to '99 were different. The lifter button, if it had one, may have been left out, also. There's a pic of the parts for a late model ejector barrel in the FAQs and help sticky.

Thanks for the answer. He does have a later model I think, with all the parts on the help page.He installed the ejector first, then the little black button in the hole in the ejector housing and then the ejector spring and the ejector latch(both pins too).

That leaves the ejector being the correct one in question. ???
