Ultra used price

I was at the range today and there was an Ultra .223 that a fellow wanted to sell. It had (I think) 6x24 BEC Gold something scope with lighted reticle. The whole outfit was in excellent shape. He wanted $350. Is this a good price? Do any of you know anything about BEC optics.

Depending on what the "whole outfit" is, the scope is an inexpensive optic like NCstar or Barska, a new Ultra is about $250, a fluted Ultra is $290. There are other much, much better scopes for the $100 he wants for the scope, one would be the 6.5-20x50 Simmons WTC18.

...you used to be able to get B.E.C. scopes from Cheaper Than Dirt and Sportsman's Guide for $60-70.00. Don't own any, never used'em. But, these two companies don't always sell the best stuff.

Just bought a Handi .223 synthetic stock with a Tasco 40mm world-class on top for $180. Gun is clean and scratch free. and boy it's a shooter.
