Something about Handi's

I was at Wal-Mart today to get a Handi in 410.The Manager there said he talked to a Rep. at Marlin,and the Rep. said they were doing away with the Handis.The Manager told me that Marlin might be putting there own name on something like the Handi.If I find out any more I'll let you know.Dave.

There's no doubt they're making some changes, apparently doing away with the Huntsman as a complete rifle in favor of the Sidekick is one of em, they've redesignated the SB2 frame as an SBS, hopefully the other changes will be good.

I don't see this happening...The NEF's makes money for the stock holders...and really isn't a liability...They will be doing some up-grades to the line..from what I've been told...but not doing away with them...Wallly World may have elected to stop selling them and much has been written on that here...and this is also something I've gotten from a few managers at various stores...since they aren't making much on them...by not marking them up as much as other stores are...

I e-mailed them and they told me they will still be available through the barrel accesory program.

I think sparkysteve got the right answer, phone help has been where we usually get misinfo or miscommunicated info. Gordon used to answer all the emails, he's one that would know for sure if anyone does.
