The Auburn Maroons just won the New York State High School Football Class AA State Championship. Class AA is made up of the largest schools in the state. They won a hard fought game against defending Class AA State Champions Monroe-Woodbury 27-26 in overtime! Awesome awesome game. The game was live on tv from the Carrier Dome. This is great for the Central New York area. Auburn plays in Section III. This is the second team from Section III to win the Class AA state championship in the last three years. Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse) won it in 2004. Congratulations Auburn High School !!!
