Ham Radio Operators in the outdoors? A thread up in round the pot bellied stove forum scared up a few Hams on GBO.

Any other Hams hiding down here? Seems like a good place to find them.

Emergency responders appreciate the volunteer support that HAM radio operators provide during emergencies such as wildfires, floods, and earthquakes. 
There is a learning process to effectively using a gps.  Do not throw your compass and map away!

Boycott: San Francisco, L.A., Oakland, and City of Sacramento, CA.
