I picked up a pretty nice 550-1 today for $100.00. I had the gunsmith run 5 rounds through it to make sure it functioned before I bought it. It's a cool little rifle.

The Remington 550 rifles are great .22s. It sounds like you got a good deal on yours. Around here, they generally go for 150 to 200 dollars and up.

I understand they will shoot CB Caps in the semi-auto mode. I'm going to have to try that.
