Scope mount on tracker 2?

I have a 12 guage tracker II barrel and was wondering if it would work to sweat on a scope mount?
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

Warne make a one-piece weaver style steel base that would probably work as long as the gunsmith ensures it properly fits your barrel contour and is careful not to alter the heat treatment of the barrel. I suppose it would be strong enough if there was full contact area. This is definitely not a job for anyone other than a qualified gunsmith. Good luck.

Had a gunsmith in my area drill and tap a weaver base on my aunt's tracker II 20 gauge.  He said it was plenty strong.  She was good before now she shoots it great.

I had a mount machined and silver-soldered onto my 12 ga choke tube turkey barrel. It's held up well with magnum loads. Silver-soldering will require a reblue job.
