Daddy's little boomstick

Hi All

Well I was at the pawn shop and he had another Pardner 12 gauge that I got for $70.00

Well I just cant leave a gun alone so I cropped the barrel to 18 3/4" long, attached a youth stock, put an ammo carrier on it and put a thumbscrew from a Survivor stock on the fore-end so you dont need tools to take it down.

Cant wait to shoot it and it should pack well

sweet looking build.  Firing that will definitely let you know you are alive.

How much does it weigh? 

Do you find the forearm screw to get in the way at all?

The screw doesnt bother me any  ;D

That's quite a nifty looking. gun. Hows it shoot? I bet the recoil is pretty stiff. It is a lot like my truck gun. I've got to get a pic of mine up one of these days. Whats the OAL with the short barrel and the youth stock?

If you call Choate machine and tool they will sell them to you

Cost like $1.50 each

They send you a package with two in it.  One fine thread one coarse.

By the way I took it out yesterday and shot it about 10 times

I shot 7 1/2 birdshot, 00 buck and 1 ounce slugs all 2 3/4" long

10 yards everything worked great except the recoil is tough.

20 yards the birdshot was thin I didnt try buck

20 yards the slug was real good at fifty not bad

This is definately a close range firearm.

If you carry it a lot and shoot it a little it works great.
