My sons first, he's 13. he made a 75 yard  double lung shot w/ a 12g usg and hornady 300sst-kevin

Thanks for the kind words...It was a real joy taking him. Anything to get him away from the video games.  I don't know who got more wound up me or him. I tried to video his hunt but ended up setting the camera down and just spotting thru binos for him. The audio is quite a laugh though.Now he can't wait to go for his first turkey. Wish us luck  ;D - Kevin

That's great that he's excited for the "next" season.
Establishing that interest and excitement now will pay off down the road. He may have some lean years and get occupied with other things some years as a teen or in college, but he'll eventually come back to hunting. You'll both be happy for the seeds planted now and the knowledge gained now.
Keep spending time with your son and you both enjoy the upcoming seasons.
We'll wait for turkey pics in the spring!  ;)
