remington 722
« on: December 26, 2006, 04:47:29 AM »
Have a remington 722, 257 roberts that won't throw the empties clear of the chamber;  I think either my bolt is all gunked up or my bolt spring may be broken.  Could someone tell me how to take the bolt apart so I can find the problem.  Thank you for your help.

harley101, You might post this in the gunsmithing forum and get a better response. I own the same rifle and there could be a couple of things that would cause this. Me, I would take it to a gunsmith and get it checked out. Hope you get it fixed ok. Carl L.
