Anybody  use a moyer trigger on their #1, or any rifle for that matter?  :D On

I put on on a No. 1 in an effort to lighten the pull.  It is a cast trigger that has the additional adjustment of sear engagement.  Easily installed and adjusted.  I probably will not use another.

I had one put in mine before I even shot it. Gunsmith that did it for me said it measured about 2 1/2 pounds. It's a world of difference from the factory trigger.

I have a newer model Ruger #1-B....also have olders ones back to the early 80's...the older ones have an excellent trigger but the newer ones are awfull...I was shocked but wanted a 280 Rem so bought a new one.....I had a smith I know order the Moyer and had him install it...it breaks at 2# and is just as good as any I have had the opportunity to handle....for my money the $100 for trigger and install was money well spent...I know I will not hesitate to buy a newer Ruger ever again.....hope this is a help......Rob
